2009 Minnesota Duck Season - Week Two

Now this is more like it. You're witnessing the fruits of our harvest last Saturday in the upper Midwest. A massive cold front moved through the area, and subsequently drove birds out of Canada and other northern locales and dumped them on to us.

The benefit? Fantastic hunting, after the most dismal opener on record. The cost? Freezing our butts off in early October.

How cold was it? I'll let Fuzzy answer that one for me.

  1. I'm a little disappointed in Webber's lack of preparation. Especially since he prides himself on it. Boat not working, guns malfunctioning??? He even was acting like it was cold. It is a sad day. At least you killed some ducks.
