Nick Punto Watch - The Tuesday Puntometer

It is time to give credit where credit is due. Nicky is batting .250, and has played some excellent defense since coming back from his groin in-jur-ry. Time to order those Punto jerseys.

With Harris unable to take candy from a baby the job away (he's currently batting a Punto-like .200), Nicky has 3rd base locked up for a while. However, after Mauer comes back, Punto better worry about Wilson Ramos' ability to play the hot corner.

    I would agree - Punto's return has given a great lift to the Twins. Did you see him run that Tiger down in the 9th inning? Amazing play!!!
