I'm introducing a feature to Yellow Dog Patrol. Dubbed "Saturday Song Share," I'll be highlighting some music that currently has my attention. It might be old, new, Indy, blues, whatever, but I promise it will always be great music.
We start with the lead single from Lana Del Rey's much anticipated Ultarviolence.
I believe there is no other artist out there right now that is doing what Del Rey is doing. Her style is uniquely her own, and while it has been fairly consistent across all of her releases, it is not getting old. She has a haunting voice, and haunting persona, and is already one of my all-time favorite artists.
Her new album is out on 6/17/14, and I can't wait. Until then, here's West Coast
